Terms and Privacy Policy
The privacy of my visitors is extremely important. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information that is received and collected and how it is used. I will never share your email address or any other personal information to anyone without your direct consent.
Data Controller
This project is being undertaken by Anthony Arblaster (czw527@york.ac.uk), who is a doctoral student at the University of York. It is being supervised by Dr Katherine Graham (katherine.graham@york.ac.uk) and Dr Rebecca Benzie (rebecca.benzie@york.ac.uk).
For this project, the University of York is the Data Controller. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Our registration number is Z4855807.

Log Files
Like many other websites, this site uses log files to help learn about when, from where, and how often traffic flows to this site. The information in these log files include:
- Internet Protocol addresses (IP)
- Types of browser
- Internet Service Provider (ISP)
- Date and time stamp
- Referring and exit pages
- Number of clicks
All of this information is not linked to anything that is personally identifiable. It is largely collected using TelemetryDeck. You can find out more about TelemetryDeck below.

This site doesn’t use cookies.
Telemetry Deck
I use TelemetryDeck to collect anonymized usage data. This helps me understand how visitors are using this site and how we can improve it. TelemetryDeck does not collect any personally identifiable information. I chose TelemetryDeck because of their commitment to privacy, and the privacy-first approach they take to website and app usage information. Research Participants
These terms are different than those for participants involved in the research. If you are a praticipant you can read the Participant Information Sheet you were provided at the start of your involvement, or view them on this blog post.
This project is being conducted according to restrictions that have been subject to approval by the School of Arts and Creative Technologies Ethics committee. The Chair of the ACT Ethics committee can be contacted on ACT-ethics@york.ac.uk.
Complaints and Concerns
